I purchased this guy for the C&C piece and since he doesn't seem to be hard to find, I decided to mess him up a little! Something about this guy just made me want to torture him!

For the most part, this is just a basic repaint. I gave all of his silver parts a black base coat and then dry brushed silver over that to give it a worn look. I also used Antiqued Bronze on a few areas to break up some of the silver. To make the flesh look a little dirtier, I mixed some brown with flat black and did a light brushing over the flesh.

The biggest changes were made to his left eye and arm. I cut off his left arm and replaced it with this cool little screw thing that I found with some of my computer parts. I stripped an S-Video cable and used one of the wires to insert into that screw. I thought this gave him a more mechanical look. I completely gouged out his left eye and replaced it with a bit of the wire that I used for his arm.

His right arm already came with some different attachments, but I really wanted him to have some sort of arm cannon as well. The gun I used was from a Power Ranger figure that I painted to match the rest of his attachments.

I finished him off with Future Finish floor wax for the mechanical parts and Testors Satin Clear Coat for the flesh parts.

I took some of my inspiration from some of the amazing damage customs that I've seen here. Most notabley, TheTransTorture is fantastic! I know that my skills aren't even close to that level, but I had a lot of fun tearing this guy up! :D

Considering how many times the poor guy got ripped apart in the comics this is pretty fitting. Looks great too.

Good call on the clear coats :thumb

Your paint applications are really nice! I like the battle-damaged approach. I'd suggest adding more wires hanging from his left arm. You can find parts from all sorts of sources (twist ties, string, etc.).

He looks good! Thanks for sharing :thumb
