    G1 Arcee

Generation 1 style scratch build and reproduce Arcee.

    *Scratch built custom original components.
    *G1 Style.
    *Fully transformable.
    *Molded with SRT-30 RTV silicone.
    *Cast with Plasticast urethane.
    *Painted with Tamiya enamels.
*Pins are from sewing needles, screws are 2.6mm model tank screws and random wood screws.
*Total project cost was ~$850 Aud, total time was ~6 months.

I consider this to be done now. In future I may do a heamaster to replace the head but I am satisfied with the current one. I added a ball joint to the neck as well. I ran into a problem while painting. The pink paint was for polycarbonate, not plastic. It adheres fine but unfortunately other enamels will not properly stick to it. Meaning that more complex paint apps are not possible on this copy. Once I have a rest from this for a while I am going to make a night ops version in shades of grey.

Looks like the hands will have to parts-form.

It has no hands because I have not made them yet. They will be one piece with the forearms. I also need to make the guns, they will slot into the top of the back section.

    Very awesome work!

Do you think you could take a pic of the kit propped up in a standing position?

    $800 so far? F#cking Hell! :O

You've done a great job on her sculpt :thumb , I'd also luv to see some standing pics & I'm pretty sure some high quality repros will go a long way towards recouping your costs. :)

looks fantastic. Hope you are going to sell this. I am a very big fan of garage kits. Especially if they look like this.

I love this! From what I can tell in your pics, the head doesn't look that small to me to be honest.

Well, I guess only rich folks will be able to buy this.

*sigh* sucks I'm a huge Arcee fan and don't own anything G1 Arcee related. :(

Oh well, beautiful job on this.

Btw, the head looks great from what I can see.
