I should get the Blaster pretty soon. I think it's a pretty cool idea for a roleplay toy.

Wow, the Blaster is really well thought out and actually quite impressive.
Not such a good idea having the movie robots faces on the packages though...

I like how Ratchet looks like an old, wiseman Transformer who's seen a million more years than the other bots.

 

Hasbro's packaging is going over the top these days! O_O At least they'll be recognizeable.

Thanks for the pics, man. I like the packaging style on Ratchet, I have to say. And the blaster's a really nice idea, and looks pretty well executed.

Very nice packaging. I love the way Ratchet looks on the box... kind of like a wisend old man. I also noticed that on the back of the box it shows Blackout as well... wonder if that means he's a voyager too? Time will tell I guess, because they do advertise other price points on the boxes too.

The blaster, while not something I would buy personally, is really well thought out and if I were an 8 year old kid again I'd f-ing be all over that. I love how they've got the kid holding onto the top of the rig and than flipping it out over his arm into Prime's arm holding a blaster. Pretty freakin' sweet...

Overall, the packaging looks nice. They'll be recognizable on the store shelves.

 

They'll look damn sexy on the toy shop shelf.... can't wait to see those in my local Woolies.

What are the little 'windows' just beneath the "Ages 5+" text? Are they just fancy box graphics to give it a 'tech' feel or is it some kind of window onto an accessory in the box?

And I wonder if that gun thingy is the renamed "Barrel Roll Blaster" from a few months ago.

Wow, Ratchet DOES have a mouth (and even lips, by the look of it). Pity there's no fullbody pic, oh well.

Also, what does it say on the top left corner of the first photo, under the Transformers logo? 'Something'-Morph Technology?

 

The curve in the plastic and the cardboard packaging makes them more expensive.

But I still like em.

 

I actually really like Ratchet's face, at first the movie bot's heads were jarring to me, but now that I've gotten used to them they seem pretty cool.

I'm looking forward to the movie toys.

 

I like the packaging too. All of the major lines from Hasbro are using just about the same style...

 

Did other pictures from the movie or figures ever show Prime with a trailer?
