I emailed costumer service for a replacement disc of season disc 2 and this is what I got in response. This was my original email to them So they sent me an automated response in return? So how did those who got a replacement disc get one?
Ah...that would explain that. Though I don't know why they would automatically assume you bought it directly from them...
I've been wondering about this myself. I heard they were going to fix it for the big box set and would mail out the replacements for people with the Season 1 box. I don't know how to go about getting the replacement.
I sent an email to "[email protected]", subject: "Regarding the Transformers Season 1 Disk 2 Error?" asking for info regarding the replacement disc. They sent me back an email asking for my mailing address, I sent that info, and I got a replacement disc in the mail shortly thereafter. -Remember (to those of you who didn't know), it's only the 2nd disc in the SEASON 1 set that needs replacement; those who purchased the Complete series (Matrix) boxset have the 'corrected' disc.
Cool, thanks! I sent it to a different email, I guess that is why. I sent the original email to costumer service. I just sent one to the email you provided, I hope it works this time!
The info is on Shout!'s webforum somewhere... I *think* that someone used the wrong audio track on a couple of episodes' worth of the disc... I *think* this one uses the correct audio... Of course, I don't remember the reason off the top of my head anymore... -Although, as I said before, the mistake WAS corrected in the Matrix boxset.
Sweet, I did that, got an email back for my info and hopefully I get the disc soon. Shout Factory is great.
Shout have fixed remaining animation errors in 3 episodes : ultimate doom part 3, a plague of insecticons and heavy metal war.
