A friend and I were looking into buying the second Allspark Almanac, so she emailed IDW, asking about it. They replied as follows:

I still need to buy both Almanacs, but I don't feel like buying them online. I went to a Chapters once because the website said it was instock, but at the store it was nowhere to be found.

 

Cool. I've had them both since they came out but it is awesome for those who still need them. Awesome books.

 

Yeah, in fact, amazon just got them back in stock a couple weeks ago, and I picked up both. They are amazing. Even expecting them to be good, I was blown away by just how much my expectations were exceeded.

 

How much do the almanacs normally cost?

Yep, and they'll hopefully return to around this price or less with the re-print.

 

Amazon had -- and will have them again -- at about $14 each.

And volume 1 is still available from them at that price right now.

Didn't the say they were going to do a hardback release of both books in one at some point?

 

I was thrilled when IDW sent me that email. Looks like I won't have to panic about finding the second Almanac after all!

Now I just have to be patient! 8D

 

Why am I seeing them on amazon for over $200 for AA II? Even out of print that's a crazy price!

 

They should do that after the almanac addendum material is published in the club mag, and include it.

 

Those are amazon seller scalping prices.

 

I need to get The Alamanac's still. Hopefully this is out before July for my birthday.


So is it both Alamanac's or just 1 of them?

I think they are reprinting both, but it's really only volume 2 that is hard to get at the moment.

 

I need to re-buy the second one. The seller I bought it from packaged it TERRIBLY and it came damaged. But because of the current cost of the book and how unbelievably cheap I got it for, I decided to hold onto it. It's only the cover that's damaged, but it's still enough to annoy me. D:

So, yeah. This is good news.

 

I hate when sellers don't pay attention to how the package things. How hard it is it take a few moments to be sure you're doing it properly to make sure the product is not damaged? Makes no sense. Sorry yours came damaged.
