Third party group Bold Forms have posted an image of their unofficial take on the Stunticon Breakdown on their Facebook page. “Wildfire” as he is known is shown here in robot mode, posed with a huge gun which is most likely the sidearm for the combined Menasor mode. Check out the image and see what you think.

I don\'t think we\'ll ever get a mp menasor. God it\'s been like this for years, anyone, YOU CAN MAKE SOME MONEY WITH THIS IDEA!!!

Are these figures like LEGOish style? They seem so plain and square, and plain. What would you display these with? Kreon Transformers?

I can't say this new pic really tells me anything new. I'm still in at the moment either way since I like the look of their Motormaster.

Spoiler is awfullly "flat" with a ridge/edge, but generally alt-mode looks good considering its size. (the big missing "rear of the roof" area I assume is for transformation—though no other TF Countach has ever been missing that area)
Curium
Alt mode looks nice at least. The only way I'm getting it though is if I like the look of their Menasor.

Hmm i don't know this breakdown by Boldforms looks to be a let down for now.
But i'll reserve final judgement until i've seen everything else. But when i'm comparing to the Hasbro one…. given the potential price points, Hasbro wins hands down.
Treadshot 2.0
Since this looks deluxe scale, I think I will stick with the official version. I am pretty sure that some third party will make compatible toys of the characters that are executed in a traditional fashion, such as slingshot and wild rider.

Cool story bro, no one cares.
Prototype looks interesting, glad to see they simplified some of the detailing.
Jersey_Steel
As a combiner yes, but they look good as individual bots

I'd like to get behind this product line. Not that I'm saying it is intended to be this way but I react to Wildfire's design in a very similar way that I react to Unique Toys' Beasticons…it's feels/seems like to me to be a refinement of the G1 toy and character designs but…it's not at the same level as other higher end 3rd party toy offerings.
Once more team members are unveiled and the combined form is shown, I may be more excited about this product line but so far, I feel lukewarm to it.

It's not necessarily a matter of ease…as I understand it, most 3rd party companies are quite "fluid" in that they aren't set up with a standard organizational model. There are some known prolific freelance toy designers who sell their work to 3rd party companies. The companies are often basically facilitators for getting the designs manufactured.
I'm sure there's much more to it but basically, if you have the start up capital, toy designs, and have the connections to deal with manufacturing plants, you could start your own 3rd party company.
Add in some social media savvy and you're well on your way to joining the ranks of plastic crack peddlers.
Galaxy Of Rust
ANOTHER 3rd party company? Where the hell are they all coming from? Is it really that easy to start your own toy company???
Insane Galvatron
I still wish the wheels were up on his shoulders, but the chest, biceps, and thighs sure do look better now than on the render. Even though I'll buy the Hasbro version, I'll probably get this too. I loved Motormaster, but the render on this had me disappointed. I was out. The new image has me back in. They stick to the G1 toon accuracy and I'll buy this one too.
SPLIT LIP
Company called Bold Forms, yet there's nothing "bold" about this. Just another square generic.

i just googled 'hasbro menasor', hadnt heard about it.
thats a fucking greek tragedy.
Jersey_Steel
Those toothpick arms look terrible
Curium
Have they shown Menasor? I though I'd seen everything in both this and Motormaster's threads and don't remember seeing it.
I'm considering their Motormaster as a stand alone though.
Exousia
Not feeling this Breakdown. He just seems to lanky, to the point that I actually prefer the look of the upcoming Hasbro one.
That said, their Motormaster looks awesome, and their Menasor looks perfect for those looking for a truly "G1" aesthetic. I might actually pick up that MM individually.
